Co-founder, Chris Davenport's background is property. Immediately after leaving school he became an Estate Agent (He claims to be a reformed character now!) Later he started a successful Property Development company concentrating on homes for First Time Buyers in South East London and Kent. This gives him a good understanding of how to build economically with a profit in mind.

Co-founder, Hayley Roskilly has worked in the Timber Frame industry for over 24 years, initially as an Architectural Technician and later as an office manager looking after a large team of Designers, Engineers and Frame Erectors. She has a wealth of contacts and a genuine passion for customer service which is unrivalled in our industry.

Simon Blakemore is our resident Architectural Technician. He has designed all manner of buildings from small extensions to high end multi unit developments throughout the UK, so understands the planning process well. He is Hayleys younger brother which means she can bully him without fear of reprisal and ensure that your drawings arrive when we promise them.

Our frame erection crew is headed up by Jake Bernardini. He has a depth of knowledge within construction that belies his 26 years! He started out as a 16 year old apprentice working with Chris on his developments and immediately took a keen interest in joinery. All our clients love Jake and his calm attitude toward his work.

Dan Ward is our Panel Designer and oversees all aspects of your Timber Frames Engineering. His background is working with Timber Frame Manufacturers on large commercial developments and he now brings that expertise to the world of the Self Builder. He has also worked on site building Timber Frames, so works closely with Jake to ensure that his designs take account of the restrictions many Self Build plots suffer from.

Lorraine Millgate is our Office Administrator and makes sure that our internal systems run smoothly. She has worked for a number of construction companies in a variety of specialist fields. She also assists us with sourcing and selecting new suppliers and tradesmen for our Project Management contracts.

Luke Bernardini heads our sister company Solo Heating Installations. He originally worked solely for Solo Timber Frame. SHI install all types of green and renewable energies and are often a part of the Solo Timber Frame Self Build Package. Michael Nicolaescu is our Site Manager and looks after those jobs where Solo are managing the whole build process. He has extensive knowledge of almost every follow on trade and his workmanship is of the very highest quality.

Charlie Roskilly is Hayleys youngest son and works for us part time as an office assistant. He is currently studying for his 'A' Levels and will be attending university in 2011.

In addition to our core team, we have wonderful back up from our heavily vetted suppliers, all of whom are very happy to offer you their advice directly and understand the individual needs of the Self Builder. We keep in very close contact with all of them meeting face to face on a regular basis in a bid to ensure that we are as up to date as possible with their products and their individual industries.
