Solo Timber Frame is able to offer a full self build project management service to a limited number of clients, however it’s a very time consuming role and to do it well a lot of time has to be spent on your site, because of this, in most cases we have to politely say no.

Among the many benefits of Timber Frame construction, is that with so much of the early and complex construction work and paperwork completed by us, the project management aspect is much easier.

Once the frame is up you will need to employ:

- Roofer
- Electrician
- Plumber
- Labour to insulate the walls and ceilings
- Dry-liners and plasterers
- Builder to construct the decorative outside skin
- Decorator
- Joiner to fit staircase and kitchen
- Landscaper

Generally Tradesmen like working on new build houses because they don’t need to worry about moving and damaging your personal effects. So finding suitable people should not cause too many problems.

Nonetheless it can be a nervous time and it’s likely that you will have questions and concerns that will need answering.

Our unique Project Consultant service will put you a phone call, email or site visit away from advice on every aspect of your self build, be it foundations or fitting kitchens, scheduling or sourcing materials. All this at a price substantially lower than employing a Project Manager, leaving you free to spend your money on improving the specification of your self build.
