service is overseen by our Contracts Manager,
Jake Bernardini and his small but perfectly
formed team of Frame Erectors.
It's the role of the Contracts
Manager to visit your building plot once
you have placed your order and organise
the correct delivery vehicles, machinery
and draw up a scaffold plan. He will also
ensure that you fully understand the build
process and your responsibilities for health
and safety.
Our Timber Frame Erection process has been
honed into an efficient, fast but above
all high quality service. The frame is delivered
directly from the factory to your site and
the erection of the structure commences
immediately.
As standard, we offer a Supply
and Erect Service, but we're also happy
to offer a supply only service. However,
don't be fooled into thinking that because
they are sometimes refered to as 'Kit Homes'
that anyone who can build flat pack furniture
can also constuct a Timber Frame House.
If you choose to do it yourself then you
need to have an indepth knowledge and prior
experience of Timber Framing as well as
construction in general.
Also, bear in mind that if we aren't erecting
the Timber Frame on your behalf, we have
to charge VAT. You can of course reclaim
it the end of the project, but it may have
an impact on your cash flow.
